Master Barbers Institute is a Barber College located in the Heart of Oak Cliff. We are a family run Educational Institution, with over 25 years of Instructional barbering experience for our Sr. Instructor Mr. Gene Garcia.

With a family friendly environment to enjoy learning a new trade, with a lot of hands on experience and theory based classes.

Interested in becoming a Texas Licensed Barber here is all you need to know:

Who: Any one 17 yrs of age or older, with all required documents

What: You will be learning the trade of barbering including Hot towel shaves, A variety of modern hairstyles, how to build clientele.

Become a professional in 10 months

practicing on models daily for precision cuts and services

Learn all theory work from the latest barbering materials

Why: Becoming a Class A Barber will lead to being an independent worker, and independent business owner. Be able to work at any Barbershops or Salons of your choice in the state of Texas.

When: Register Tue-Friday from 9-12 pm with all required paperwork to begin Classes Every First Tuesday of the Month.

Starting classes Monthly

Where: All practical / theory is held during the 5 hours daily, on campus, no traveling to different locations

How: Complete 1000 hours required by TDLR

Pass written portion of PSI exams upon completion

Pass Practical portion of PSI exams upon completion

Renewed license every 2 yr to keep license
